Why is CNN no longer channel 25 (it's 35 now). Why is USA network no longer 64 (it's 28 or 29). Plus, where's the TV Guide Channel? I couldn't even find that to help me find the other channels? What's Comcast up to?
For the past 4 or 5 years, I've had the same channel listings; thus, I've memorized most (at least for the channels that I watch regularly) of the channel listings, and I was comfortable with that arrangement. Now, I'm faced with having to totally reorganize my brain and memory to remember another set of listings and stop myself from reverting to the old listing. I bet Comcast has it mixed up. I believe they substituted (by mistake, I hope) another city's listing for my own city. At least TV Guide still has it correct. I compared the other cities listings with my previous one, and the new one is for a different, but adjacent city.
So, Comcast, please hear my plea and fix the damn thing. I implore you. This mix up is ruining my TV viewing habits. Couch potatoes hear my plea as well. You know what this is doing to me. However, the one good thing this has done is to bring the obscure channels that I don't regularly watch up front. Plus, I think I'm getting a few channels I didn't get before. Hmmm.
I hate change too much to be totally ok with this. Give me a few months, and I'll be over it, though. Still, I need to know whether this is a fluke or it's for real, so I can start to learn the new channel listings.
