haiku-ing, limerick-ing: such nonsense

Good or bad, I've had another moment of pure epiphany. I should do something creative to spark my brain power. Get those grey cells moving and shaking so they can be of some use to me. What a better way to do that than to write some poetry. It makes sense since I've been learning about the subject, and teachers are always encouraging students to make real world connections. Because I'm always full of good ideas, but never actually having anytime to do them, this experiment will rise beyond expectations or fail miserably. I shall start thinking and hope to come up with something soon.

On the subject of poetry, I should be exploring some of the poets that I've been studying. I'll post my thoughts on the topic, and elaborate more on what is discussed in class. I should since this is my blog, and I control the content. Funny. I've always had an interest in the news and journalism, and now I've become the writer, editor, and art director of my very own blog. Never realized the connection until now.

Wow. I've had another idea already. Polls. In honor of election year 2004, I shall institute polls to better gauge the general public on where they stand on pressing issues. Stay tuned for that.
