missing hook already

I'm wondering if I've accomplished what I set out to do. Rereading my blog description made me realize that I don't think I'm living up to the standard/goal I set myself for this blog. I realize what I wrote is of a higher standard than what I'm doing now. The description sound dandy and all, but are my posts matching its description? Hmm...

There are too many thoughts running in my head. Sometimes, it's hard to pick the topics that I actually want to write down for this blog. At times, I pick a topic, but it falls flat. Other times, I change my mind. This topic turns out to be more pressing. It's very difficult because I don't want to write down every little thought that I have. I think my posts should add my own personal thoughts to it; it should show off my character because I'm sure everyone is writing about the same topic, especially if its news related. My posts should to add something extra to the discussion because that's how I'm going to distinguish myself and my blog from others.

Moreover, I don't type as fast as I think, so most ideas vanish before I have time to capture it. Again, one post on a certain topic seems appropriate, but a few minutes or hours later, it's not relevant anymore, especially since I try not to publish that often. My thoughs are pretty scattered. Maybe you can tell from this post.

I need a hook. I haven't found it yet. I guess I'm content to mess around some more.
