1. What was the last book you read? Did you enjoy it?
I read The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Great book. See my later post about it.
2. What's your favorite book of all time?
I have a couple. The first book that I put into my fav list of all time would have to be To Kill A Mockingbird. There’s something about that book that gets me every time. The 2nd on my list has to be The Poisonwood Bible. I found the similarities between moving to a new place and finding out that the things you thought you needed didn't apply at all really poignant. My first big, thick book that I wanted to read and actually completed. There are other classic books that I enjoyed just as much that I don't consider on my fav list.
3. What's the worst book you've ever read?
That's a tough one. I don't think there are any "worst" books. There are those that I find boring. And there have been many that I just haven't gotten into, like A Tale of Two Cities. I'll have to try again with that book.
4. What book that you've read would you most like to see adapted into a movie?
Well, I was glad that LOTR was adapted. I guess the Hobbit may be up next. So, I guess I would like to see The Poisonwood Bible get its chance. The Chronicles of Narnia should also get its chance in the same path as LOTR ( I believe someone is planning on adapting the 2nd book, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe).
5. How do you plan to spend your weekend?
I have class. I need to apply to colleges. I need to study for tests. I need to read books I've checked out. I need to clean my room. I need to write a paper. Well, two papers, actually. I need to start preparing to live on my own. I need to decide where I want to live first of all. Busy, busy.
