first impressions at home

I've figured with my grandfather's help that I've been here for about a week.

Today I'm feeling rather lethargic. No idea why. I've been pretty good the last couple of days. I wanted to write sooner and at the airplane/airport, but the trip was long, and I was tired. It was weird seeing everyone. It's hard to believe it's been two years since the last time I've seen them. All the kids have grown.

The house and the neighborhood are the same. Coming back here made me realize how much Thai I have left in me. All the stuff I learnt as a kid is inside me still, but it’s slowing withering way from me not using it.

I feel so comfortable, but so out of place. In the last few days, I made some serious decisions. Now I want to take it back. All I know is that I don't want to stay where I am right now. Me being here made me realize this.

Random things I've noticed:
-- It's rained about 3 days out of the total time I've been here.
-- Mosquitoes. Lots of them. Lots.
-- Goats. People over the klong are raising some goats. So they let them roam around. I get to see them up close.
