Yoga Pilates or Yogalates?

I saw Yoga Pilates painted as white, all caps/blocked letters on the window of Ladies of America Fitness (or something like it) near my house. For those of you in the know and are fans of The O.C. will remember that Seth and Sandy had a good laugh at Kirsten taking a "yogalates" class. And that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the words. I never knew such things existed in real life. I thought it was made up for The O.C. And I wonder if it is the same thing? Hmm...something to think about for years to come.

Here's the scene from The O.C. when I'm first introduced to "yogalates:"

Sandy: You're gonna be late for yogalates.
Kirsten: I think I might not go.
(in other conversations, Sandy continues bringing up yogalates)
Kirsten: You like saying yogalates don't you?
Sandy: yogalates (he smiles)
Ryan: yogalates.
Sandy: yogalates.
