Happy Thanksgiving

It's THANKSGIVING! Yay!

Round up of my Thanksgiving Day:
Woke up around 11am. Got ready. Caught the last few minutes of the Macy's Parade. Then took a shower, and taped the National Dog show because it's my new favorite thing about Thanksgiving.

Went down, and eat. The house was empty, but then realized that everyone was outside playing croquet. I was kinda disappointed that my mom didn't start cooking yet because it meant that I had to help her through the whole way.

Anyways, when I finished eating, they all came in, and that's when my mom informed me that we would begin the long, arduous process of cooking Thanksgiving dinner. I was put in charge of stuffing (yay, my favorite). Won't go into gritty details of stuffing making, but will tell you that it's not was easy as the instructions say. I peeled potatoes (I love to peel potatoes, truly), and did a bunch of other small stuff.

Anyway, we sat down to eat, did the go-around-the-table-and-say-one-thing-you-are- thankful-for, and we ATE. I'm telling you, I was so hungry before we eat, but after a few bites of the food, I was stuffed. Everyone was, pretty munch.

With the dishes piled up, the plates still left on the table, we all went outside and participated in another tradition, THE CROQUET CHAMPIONSHIP. First game, I won. Very unlikely, but I did it. Second game, my dad won, I think. Third game, I WON AGAIN!

We all came back in, and it was time to clean up. Boo. I did the dishes, and everyone else cleared the table or put 3 weeks worth of leftovers away. My back hurts and my legs are sore, but it was a fun Thanksgiving. And it's only 8pm as I am typing this sentence, so I have a couple of hours left to bore.
