Home for a visit

This is the first time that I can say that I'm coming home for a visit. Never in my 20 years have I had an opportunity like this. I'm coming home for a visit, but it's not actually my residence anymore. So weird. This whole living in an apartment thing takes getting used to.

I'm glad to be home. I'm thankful for cable and digital TV. I'm watching 'Along came Polly' right now.

The thing is that I took most of my amenities with me to the apartment. So now I have to bring a bag every time I come home with all the stuff that I need, which would normally have been here, but I took with me to the apartment instead. Got it.

We went to Blockbuster*. And you know what happens when the whole family goes to Blockbuster. Everyone picks a totally different movie. There are 5 of us, and we all want to see 5 different movie. So hilarious. So true.

Home = time to be lazy. I really, really need to study for my oceans test, but I'm procrastinating, which is dangerous territory for me to be in. After promising myself that I would not be in the crunch time position ever again, I always stray back to it. Not a precedence to set for the rest of the semester.

*You may have heard the 'NO MORE LATE FEES' ad, but did they tell you that in place of the 'NO MORE LATE FEES' they, Blockbuster, was raising the check out prices? Sure, 'NO MORE LATE FEES.' Everyone's happy. But you didn't think that they did this out of the kindness of their hearts did you? Sneaky, sneaky Bs.
