Reading Log: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Presents America the Book: A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction

more info from Amazon
more info from B&N

Impressions:
-- It was hilarious from the inside flap till the very end. I read every single line. I can't say that for every book. None. So far. Even the cover is hilarious: With a forward by Thomas Jefferson.
-- Bold and hilarious.
-- I don't know what to add that will make you love this book more or enjoy The Daily Show anymore (You MUST like both).
-- I'd like to add that when Wal-Mart was upset over the naked pictures I did not realize that it was actually naked pictures. Like in the book. Nude people in the book. And you can see their private parts. Yes. It's all exposed. Ok, technically it's not the Supreme Court Justice’s private parts par se. But certain things, ya know, down there are shown.
-- No one's spared.

[see how many times I wrote 'hilarious?' That's how hilarious this book is.]

Since you openly claim to have never read another entire book, maybe you should. This way, you'll be able to see how crappy this John Stewart book really is.

Short Version:
You’re right. 1. I "openly claim to have never read another entire book." 2. That Jon Stewart book is really crappy.
You win.

The ‘God, I’m bitter’ version:
Don’t be such a booger boo. I don’t care that you think the book was crappy and that I find it to be the gift from God, but there’s a difference between what I intended my words to mean and what your interpretation of it was. Subtle. But it’s there. Man, I sure wish I were more articulate. But since I don’t really read books, then I can see where it all goes wrong. Thanks for wrongly interpreting what I said and using that against me.

Ok. I think it’s hilariously crappy then. You’re right. I haven’t read "another entire book," but I should. Because in all the other books I haven't read, knowing where the library of congress catalogues this book as or where the publisher’s address is just is so damn…not enticing. And sure, sometimes they might include an index, and I think that’s just swell, but it’s not my cup of tea either. I guess I can’t skip those pages and still claim to have "read another entire book" because then I would be lying, and people would front me out.

Note to Self: Somehow I feel the comment was vaguely insulting or made in a rather put downish tone. I don't know why...is it because I don't read books in their entirety or I have crappy tastes? Or both? Probably both. And I thought I was the troll here.
