the DREDED headache

It’s now 10:30pm on Wednesday March 3, 2005, and I have a headache. Symptoms: blurred vision, nausea, and searing pain in my left temple. After an hour of trying to sleep it off, which meant that I had to miss LOST, I was awoken with searing, throbbing pain in my right temple. It was that bad that it woke me from my sleep. That’s just crazy. Two and a half hour later, it's calmed down, but I’m hovering in the in-between state. The two Advil’s couldn't stop it. I was tempted to take another, but it was only a headache. I don’t want to overdo it. I realized that being on the verge of throwing up was not a good place to be either. How unfair. Not only do I get a headache, but nausea has to accompany it too. And don't forget the blurred/double vision that started it all.

You know, I realized that I have pain in my head. And without my head, I can't function. Startling news, isn't?
