sports and the city that loves it

For those who are curious about the big T: SIX THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT: TEXAS.

I'm hearing talk about a new stadium for the Cowboys or something. I think they're arguing over where to put a new stadium. I feel like I should speak out on this mainly because I don't follow football at all, and I'm not sure if there's a purpose to men in heavy armor out on the field doing something with a ball. Wait, the correct term is ball, right? Besides, I'm an avid sports fan. That's right. I'm trying to religiously follow the Mavs. It's hasn't really worked out the way I planned, but I hear Dirk and Nash are great, great players. GO MAVS. All the way to the play-offs, baby. They are having a play-off, right? I'm not kidding around this time. I really need to know if they have a shot at a national title.

Anyways, Dallas is a great place for a sports fan. We have a baseball, football, soccer (or football, which I prefer because it makes more sense, but oh well.), ice hockey, and...I think that's all the professional sports teams in Dallas. I mean, there's great variety in the sports so you can pick and choose the team that you want to root for. Oh, I just remembered TMS (Texas Motor Speedway, for those who didn't know. Silly people). Yeah, we have one of those too although it's a little on the Ft. Worth side.
The Ballpark in Arlington is turing 10. Good for them. It's not a bad ballpark although I've only been to this one, so I have no frame of reference.

Wow, I've spend a really long time talking about sports, which is rare for me because I know nothing about sports. I need to end it now before I realize it ain't so bad after all. And it really isn't.

P.S. I know stuff on tennis. Well, not how to play it, but I do follow it, so talk to me about that instead. I wish tennis would get more exposure here, but that's another post and rant waiting to happen. Pssst...Wimbledon and Roland Garros (French Open) are coming up next!
