Cranky bitch bus driver

I rode the bus this morning. Mid way though the route, the bus driver stops the bus on the side of the road, opens the doors and got out. She ran with her coffee cup, poured the old coffee out, and went into the Seven Eleven. Yes, she left the bus on the side of the road, which was not a Dart bus stop, and proceeded to go shop at the 7-11. Didn't say a word about her intentions. Just got up and left the passengers there. We waited there for about 10 minutes before she came out with 2 drinks and some items, which she most likely brought in there. Came back on the bus and didn't say a thing. Just drove the rest of the route.

Not only did the driver make an unsanctioned stop, she has a bad attitude. The stop button on the bus didn't work, so before my stop, I went up to her and asked, "Can you stop at the next stop, please?" Her reply: "I know. It's a required stop." I know that I can't convey to you the condescension from the "I know," but trust me, it's there. At that very moment, I could feel my BP shoot up. God, I can't believe I'm getting this shitty treatment. Obviously, she’s a cranky bitch. Just because it's a required stop does not mean that the drive has to stop if no one needs to get off. Let's follow her logic. You automatically stop at a designated point on the schedule, so that will probably mean that you can only pick up at those stops too? Come on. Then why are there bus stop signs every few miles on a route? That's because the schedule just marks the main stops. Idiot.

After I got off, I went inside and wrote, "I hope the driver gets fired" on a piece of paper, folded it, and torn it up into pieces. I wish bad things for her. That's my therapy for you.

I shop when I'm pissed.

My credit card gets extra usage when I get angry.

I just witnessed the skank (SK) be insulting and rude. And that makes me pissed. Of course, Clueless (CL) was in her "No I won't let you" mode, which translate into: "Sure, honey, do whatever you want".

Well, that adds another line on the bank statement. I don't feel guilty now. Why should I? Clueless continues to be in la la land spitting out false sentiments. Let me just say that Clueless and Head Clueless (HCL) are the epitome of the push over parent. If you hump their leg long enough, they'll totally give in. Doesn't matter what the circumstances are. They will succumb to about any wish, and if they can't, then they will apologize. Unbelievable.

Sounds great?

Not really. Push over means no rules, sense of discipline; common sense doesn’t not prevail, and certainly, a lack of common decency doesn't exist. You can be rude and obnixous your whole life, and no one will stop you. You can get away with anything, even shoplifting, and no punishment is handed out. Only sympathy.

I don't know where this Lawless land will lead. I can't believe it's gone this far. I need to get out of here.

Don't order books from ...

... because they'll send you a book with the wrong ISBN tag and still claim that they sent you the right book. Let me explain. I wanted to order a Statistics book, the 7th ABBREVIATED edition. So I went on Half.com, and ordered it from them. Yet, when I received the book, they sent me the non-ABBREVIATED edition, but they put the ID tag complete with title that states it is an ABBREVIATED edition and the ISBN number that matches the ABBREVIATED EDITION. So to them, they sent the right book because the ISBN matches.

I tried explaining this to them, but of course they went by the ISBN sticker that they printed and insists that they sent the right book. I don't think that by sticking a ISBN sticker on a book that does not match the actually book qualifies as "WE SENT YOU THE RIGHT BOOK."

Of course, I had to pay my own shipping costs to get the refund.

It's not a good business practice to try to pass off certain books as others. I've ordered books from the Internet before. And "sometimes books have different ISBN numbers" aint's going to cut it either.

I'm getting angrier as I type this, so I'm going to stop now.

I hate

I hate my life. I hate being screwed over. I hate caring so much. I hate not being able to stand up for myself. I hate having no voice. I hate rude, obnoxious, and selfish people with a vengeance. I hate being alone. I hate suffering alone. I hate that the only peace and happiness I find are in my dreams. I hate having to cry my eyes out over disappointment. I hate self-loathing. I hate rejection. I hate having to pretend that I love this life and that I want it to go somewhere.

WHY MUST PEOPLE WRITE IN ALL CAPS?

WHY DO PEOPLE CONTINUE TO WRITE IN ALL CAPS? WHY? WHY? WHY? IT'S SO GOD DARN ANNOYING. DO THEY NOT REALIZE THAT BY WRITING IN ALL CAPS IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT PEOPLE WILL BE MORE INCLINED TO READ WHAT THEY WRITE? IF ANYTHING, IT'S A TURN OFF. AT LEAST FOR ME, AND I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE. OR IS IT'S THE LAZY THING TO DO BECAUSE THEY CAN'T BE BOTHERED WITH CAPITALZING? PLUS, IT'S HARD ON THE EYES, PEOPLE. REMEMBER THAT.

GOOD LORD, PEOPLE. PLEASE DISCONTINUE THIS HABIT. OR I'LL STARTING USING MORE GODS AND LORDS IN MY POST. CHRIST.

Annoying movie reviews

I love watching previews, and I may be one of the few who loves previews in movie theatres. To me, there's great excitement and wish fulfillment when a new movie comes out. I so excited to see it, and then when I checking the news, a move review always comes up and spoils the excitement of me going to see the movie.

Like I was excited to see the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and then I couldn't avoid movie reviews for it. Same with Kingdom of Heaven. When it gets closer to opening day, a foot load of reviews comes out for it, and the title usually gives away how the reviewer feels/rates the film.

I have nothing against the reviews, but I hate that they ruin and take the enjoyment out of me making my own mind about the quality of the movie. I don't want to be told before hand why it sucks, why it doesn't, which are the good parts, the tolerable, and the truly heinous ones because then all I’m going to do during the movies is check whether or not I agree with the reviewer. I'm already biased against the film depending on which reviews I read. I want a blank slate when I go into the films so I can make up my own mind, THANK YOU.

I love going to see movies that I haven't read the reviews for, and then going back to look up the reviews for the movie to see if critics loved or hated it, what ratings they gave it, and why. I believe that's the way it should be.

I can't really avoid the reviews. No I can't. I don't mind they show up as news link on Yahoo or MSNBC or CNN. But I'd rather they not include in the headline their opinions of the movies, but I don't want to be influenced by their reviews. Why not go, click here to see the movie reviews, instead of saying, HOUSE OF WAX SUCKS. And usually there's a clever pun included in the headline that tells you if the movie is a nay or yay.

The only thing

The only thing you need to know about me is that I'm capable of so much hate. And if you continually and maliciously piss me off, I will kick your ass. And I will enjoy the moment, no matter how small or fleeting that moment may be. Do you know enough about me? All right. Great. Next.

President Bush's Major Speech on the war on Terror

I'm not stupid. When the networks announced that President Bush was about to deliver a major speech on the war on terror, I knew that it wasn't going to just be a speech on the war on terror. You can't have a major policy speech and a campaign speech at the same time. You can't do that on a campaign stop. You can't do that at a campaign rally. (That is all that is being done.) Call it for what it is: A campaign speech to try to get you reelected.

It can't be a major War on Terror speech when you are thanking the people that are introducing you or others who have supported you or have people cheer for something they liked that you say or boo against a mention of your "opponent." And you definitely know that it's not a major speech regarding the War on Terror when Bush mentions "my opponent." And now all President Bush is doing is attacking John Kerry. How can THAT be a major speech regarding the war on Terror? Shame on you, President Bush. Shame on the networks for airing his speech.

The thing is that I really wanted to know about progress or lack of progress on the War on Terror from our President. But that's not what I got. And I don't think this is the first time that it has happened either.

Adware/spyware peeps, you're so smart! I hate you!

Tonight I just discovered a "bundle" of adware/spyware in Windows. I presumed it's adware/spyware because it has file/application names like these: optimize.exe, setup_silent_17299.exe, and webrebates_auto_installsilent.exe.

So here's the problem that I have with it besides the obvious: It's like another slap in the face from adware/spyware creators. Spyware people: I already stupidly got tricked into downloading your crap. Now you choose to label your vicious files like that? It's so blatantly obvious that you're killing me. They are mocking me. Taunting me. I know anything with "silent" in it is not good. Duh! Couldn't you make it harder for me to find? Could you? It's like a cat and mouse game with you people, eh?

Well I'm here to tell you that you have won. For now. I have to live with this until I get to ditch this computer for a brand new one. Ha. Ha.

My computer has more than its share of ad/spy ware, as far as I'm concerned. I don't know if it was like this all the time, but ever since I got doped into downloading from Internet Optimizer, I have had problems. Whole bunches of other adware/spyware are nesting comfortably on my computer, and I'm freaked out. I know it's there, but I can't get rid of it myself. Ad-aware isn't detecting adware/spyware that Yahoo! Anti-Spy is listing. That sux.

I find files with weird names that I’m sure are adware/spyware, but I don't want to arbitrary delete files. I'm not a computer geek.

Now, spyware is taking over my life. I constantly worried that it's messing up my computer by sending its hosts important information about me over the net. It's all I think about when I'm on my computer, and when I'm surfing the net. I'm more sensitive to my computer’s behavior than ever before. I cringe when it gets too loud or IE is too slower. Signs of spyware I think. Not good.

changing the channels

Why is CNN no longer channel 25 (it's 35 now). Why is USA network no longer 64 (it's 28 or 29). Plus, where's the TV Guide Channel? I couldn't even find that to help me find the other channels? What's Comcast up to?

For the past 4 or 5 years, I've had the same channel listings; thus, I've memorized most (at least for the channels that I watch regularly) of the channel listings, and I was comfortable with that arrangement. Now, I'm faced with having to totally reorganize my brain and memory to remember another set of listings and stop myself from reverting to the old listing. I bet Comcast has it mixed up. I believe they substituted (by mistake, I hope) another city's listing for my own city. At least TV Guide still has it correct. I compared the other cities listings with my previous one, and the new one is for a different, but adjacent city.

So, Comcast, please hear my plea and fix the damn thing. I implore you. This mix up is ruining my TV viewing habits. Couch potatoes hear my plea as well. You know what this is doing to me. However, the one good thing this has done is to bring the obscure channels that I don't regularly watch up front. Plus, I think I'm getting a few channels I didn't get before. Hmmm.

I hate change too much to be totally ok with this. Give me a few months, and I'll be over it, though. Still, I need to know whether this is a fluke or it's for real, so I can start to learn the new channel listings.

Classes

School is about to open. Now comes the time for me to panic and freak about how much work I'm going to have to do. I'm going to take 2 science+lab classes. Those have got to be killers. Plus, I have to take a PE class, which, of course, I hate. I hate PE. I hope it's more theory and less go-out-there-and-excercise. Yes, I realize that's what PE classes are meant for, but maybe I'll have to do a lot of outside walking exercises (on my own time). I hope we don't have to do too many walking exercises around campus. It's Walking and Fitness. It shouldn't be too bad, right? What about changing and changing rooms? I hate to change in front of other people. Plus, you have to wear proper attire to classes. What about if we are not doing any walking or exercises that class? Do we still have to wear gym clothes? Hate it.

Now, for the sciences. I especially chose Environmental Sci over Chem because I thought that it would be easier and it's something I might be interested in. Now I'm not so sure. I think I'll like the lecture part, but I know that I'm such a clumsy person that I'll probably mess up. Also, everyone loves that dreaded act of choosing a lab partner (that you might have to team up with for the rest of the semester!). It's that awkward: I-hope-I'm-not-a-loser-and-someone-picks-me-because-I don't-want-to-end-up-being-the-only-one-without-a-parnter-otherwise-I'll-look-ike-a-complete-idiot. Gosh. And I have two labs to look forward too. The other is Earth Sci.

I hope English goes all right as well. It might be a bit tougher, but I hope I can find the time to do all the essays, papers, and reading. I'm not familiar with the readings for the course, which means that I'll have to do the reading during the course. I should have spent time preparing for it, but oh well.

History should be fine, but it is early American History, which I haven't learnt about. But it's history. My favorite subject in school. I've always done well in it.

My advisor told me that taking two science courses might not be a good idea, but I might be able to pull it off. So, no worries?!

I'll just have to weather the storm.
