One of the joys of blogging is that you get to have an opinion. And it doesn't matter if it's wrong. The important thing is that you get to have one. You are in control of what you say and how you say it.
The content is just as important as the tone.
I don't think it really matters whether you are right or not, whether you make sense or not. For the majority of people, they blog for personal reasons. They invite friends to join them, and chat with them. That's the majority of blogs. "I have a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. . ."
I think all great, successful blogs and bloggers have strong opinions and viewpoints. And they are not afraid to share them. They look at the world and their life through personal, often insightful, eyes. Although millions blog about what they had for lunch, successful, popular bloggers manage to bring their fresh perspective to it. They truly own their story, even if it was as common and mundane as what they had for lunch. Their personality shows through. It’s instantaneous and unforgettable.
