turn around

awesome surprise
WOW...Blogger got an update with new features. A Blogger Relaunch. All right!!!

Look it even made the news: Google revamps blogging service.

I like it. I'll have to get used to it though, but it's a great turn around.

I see they included a blockquote icon. Nice.

I like the added features like profile, recent posts (very nice, very nice, long time coming), and it's own comments (not bad, also).

Great improvement in the design arena as well.

I'm glad they did this because if I knew anything about computers, I would move to MT instantly. It's good to stay competitive.

Now, I'm having a hard time deciding whether to use the new templates or just add new features into my existing blog. I'm going to have to get used to the new template designs and layouts, which means that I'm going to have to relearn all the CSS/HTML stuff.

I'm so used to my template as it is, and I know my way around this style sheet when I want to edit it.

I'm sick of changing layouts, but I see some potential with the new ones.

I'll wait awhile before I change, I think. I want to be familiar with the new style sheet layout before I change anything.

Anyways...nice to see Blogger get an update.

So far so good.

(I'm still getting used to the "dashboard" though)

ETA: Ok, now, I'm not so thrilled about having each post on it's own page because I now realize that it takes a lot longer to publish than before. So, I don't know if that's a good thing at all. I like having the recent post, but not structured this way. And the preview is different. Before, I could press preview and it would save my posts without me having to press save as draft, which also publishes the blog. It doesn't do that anymore. Plus, the preview is all the way on the top right hand corner. Not very convienent.

Also, the dates are not set to when you actually publish the post anymore, which means that I have to go back and change the dates/time. Another drawback to the upgrade.

rangers
Great news for them. They're doing well early. All right! See: Hopes rise in Texas: Young sluggers making life after A-Rod sweet for Rangers. Sweet!

finally
I'm starting to feel like writing my history paper. It's due tomorrow, and I haven't even finished the draft yet. But I'm at least adding something to the page. It's slowly coming together. I just wished I didn't waste so much time doing everything but the paper.
