Texas rain, revisited

Let's shall we? Ok, I think I've mentioned this in passing before that the wonder that is Texas rainstorms must be experienced first hand. An hour ago, it was raining like crazy. And when I say crazy, I meant it. It was thundering, lightening, pouring like you wouldn't believe. And it went on for about half an hour. After than...silence. Sure, some lightening is appearing here and there, but mostly, the storm has passed. So for half an hour I felt like my life was going to end. I had to open the gate for my mom, and in order to so, I had to go outside in the crazy-it's-going-to-end-my-life-storm. I had my mini umbrella with me which made me feel like I'm going to get struck by lighting every hand my flesh is in contact with its handle. That was the craziest minute of my day, by far.
