I just realized that my blog is decked out in Christmas colors. Well, I guess it's never too soon to starting thinking about Christmas. Although I don't really celebrate the religious aspects of Christmas, I do whole-heartedly celebrate the gift giving part, and why shouldn't I? It's so much fun. However, I have never quite been able to get up early enough in the morning to open presents with my family. They all come to my door and scream a thousand screams for me to wake up, but the past few Christmases, I haven't been able to get up.
And why should you blame me for not being able to get up. I stay up late on Christmas Eve because it's CHRISMAS EVE. I want to usher in Christmas, but I can never get up on Christmas day.
Ohh...Christmas. I'm looking forward to the couple of inches of snow that fall once a year for only a couple of days. This time, I'll be ready with my camera to watch all the pretty things covered in snow.
Too bad I'm not in school this semester or I'll be looking forward to school closing due to bad weather again. Such fun times.
And I hear that stores are already selling Christmas decorations. So why shouldn’t I also get into the Christmas spirit and deck my blog in red and green? It’s super fun.

As I was reading your post it clicked to me that where I work there are already tons of Christmas decorations for sale. Even last months there were people checking out (I'm a cashier) talking about how they were almost done their christmas shopping.
Some people start their Christmas shopping Boxing Day the year before, so don't worry your Red and Green motif is not too early.
Merry EARLY Christmas!
