I voted. My vote counted.

I went to vote in my first presidential election today. The line was long. Waited about an hour. But the actually voting, done by touch screen, took me less than a minute.

All in all, I don't see why people don't vote.

Plus, I came home with TWO stickers, which read, "I voted" and "My vote counted." Somehow I felt like I was stealing when I graped for the second sticker.

Thanks. Made me feel a little less guilty. I didn't want to go do my civic duty and then come back out as a thief.

Plus some people didn't even want the stickers. I can't imagine why not. So at least the stickers won't go to waste.
