the things i want; the things i can't have

Some of you may or may not have noticed or even cared, but I've noticed that the only two moods I've chosen or chosen regularly are Procrastinate and Lazy. That just says it all. Really. I'd like to think I'm more complicated than that, but those two words describes 50% of who I am. Hmm. Mystery solved.

I haven't mentioned this before, but SXSW is going on in Austin. Wish I could be there.

I also have no idea how the Mavs are doing. My goal of following their exploits have failed miserably. I haven't watched a single game in March.

I don't own an iPod nor am I proficient in technology, but it's the new craze, so I'm channeling my lemming side and following suit. I want one too. Why can't I have one? Oh, that's right. It costs, like, $300. But, to appease my self, I'm pretending that the cutout of the new iPod minis are the real thing (from ads in magazines). So, I, too, own an iPod/mini like everyone else.

ellen tracy modelSpeaking of magazines, I'm into Lucky. It's a magazine about shopping. Now, that's pretty cool. Again, it's not like I can afford any of those stuff featured in the mag, but it's still cool to window shop. And if I'm half as pretty or even remotely resemble this woman in any shape or form, I'll die happy. Alas, I don't. She models for Ellen Tracy. This pic is in the new Lucky, of which I'm a subscriber. I'm not sure who she is, and I'm starting to feel a girl crush developing. ETA: Check out the male version of Lucky, Cargo. Who knew such a thing existed?

How is it possible that I'm only learning about Earth Day today? Wouldn't there be more hoopla about it? It's from March 19-20. I thought it was sometime in April? Is there another one of those types of things in April? I feel like I should do something...earthy...for our earth. But what? I mean, I've been on the comp since I got up. I've had the TV on for just as long. Now I just turned my lamp on. Hmm...but I did open my windows to let fresh air in instead of turning my fan on. And I just turned the TV off (because there really wasn't anything on...I'm telling ya, it's Saturdays. I take that back. There's one thing I can look forward to: All 80s weekend. "Shout! Shout! Let it all out! These are the things I can do without! Come on! I'm talking to you. So come on..."). I also walked by my kitchen trash can, and I saw a coke bottle in there. Although I felt a really big pang of guilt because it should really go into the recycle box outside, I did nothing about it. Nobody but me really cares about recycling anyways. I feel like it's such a lost cause. At least in my house.
hahaha...I raced to published before midnight, and I sneaked in...barely!
