Barbarians, Surgeons & Superstars

The Barbarians are coming!

Barbarians is an four-hour special that covers nearly 1000 years of history and conquest, focusing on four main Barbarian groups: the Vikings, the Goths, the Mongols, and the Huns.
Great, epic story of history's most famous barbarians. Very telling, intelligent, and enlightening. It's programs like these that make me excited that I want to study history.

While you're at it, why not take a Barbarian Quiz: Are you a barbarian?

Ellen. Love her.

Nip/Tuck. Great, great show that's going to be starting its second season on June 22nd. I watched the beginning, but didn't see the last episodes, so I'm catching up.

Superstar USA. Now, this, I will watch. I'm not into American Idol at all. I wasn't here when it started, so I didn't get indoctrinated with its hype. Hi-liarious. Mean? Yes, but, come on, there's something about ridiculing and mocking other people. I'm quoting a Gilmore Girl on this, "Do they not understand we are unapologetic mockers?"

Gilmore Girls. Luke and Lorelai finally get together, and so did Dean and Rory. Hmm...what a contrast. Some relationships are getting started, others are falling apart. It will be interesting to see how these storylines are developed and how they conclud. I'm most excited by Luke and Lorelai's budding romance. It's like they were meant for each other but only realized it now.

Plus, I saw Diana Scarwid on Law & Order: SVU. She's great. I miss her on Wonderfalls.
