And Wes dies. But, before he does, Fred appears before him, welcoming him home. Great, sappy little moment there.
It seems too easy. It's like they have wrapped up 200 years worth of mythology in 1 hour. I guess that's what you get when a network cancels you mid season.
Well, here ends the universe full of vampires, demons, and evil people.
You've made my nights great. The humor and fantasy of hell hole LA is and will always be endearing. You have provided tons of laughs along the way. See: the episode where Angel turns into a "wee little puppet man," courtesy of Spike (the quotation, not the actually turning of Angel into a puppet). Oh, yes, Spike. A perfect foil for Angel.
Anyways, too many moments in the five-year run to recount. However, I am watching the returns on TNT, and that's where Angel & Gang, you'll live on...blah...blah....blah...
Now, I'll just have to look forward to the new Firefly movie, and whatever scraps you throw me when I see you in other roles.
Farewell, Angel & Gang.
