I'm having my wisdom teeth taken out

Help me. Someone. I just nonchalantly found out that I should have all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out because they are growing in awkwardly.

The big thing is that I have to take antibiotics when I have dental procedures, and because I'm going under, I can't have food/drinks, which I need so that I don't throw up when I take my antibiotics. I don't have a stomach for large antibiotic pills, and as a result of having to take so many antibiotics before I visit the dentist, my stomach has a reaction to any large pills I have to take. I've realized that gelcaps have become my best friend.

Also, it's the IV sedation thing that the doctor will do. That doesn't sound good. SEDATION. I think the official term on the piece of paper I got was IV CONSCIOUS SEDATON. Are you kidding me? I don't want to be conscious for it. I'd rather be put to sleep. I think it's local anesthesia. But I don't really know a lot of the procedure. Nobody has explained to me what is going to happen.

I don't know what I'm more scared of -- having to take antibiotics on an empty stomach or the IV sedation part.

thanks ariane. I'm not really looking forward to it, but I want to get it out of the way quickly. And I hate the dentist too. Mainly because I feel like throwing up everytime I visit.
